Play it at home: when you would rather not have an audience
A way to finish your first song without a room full of people.
Not everybody wants to play in front of someone, and that is a perfectly good way to learn. If you would rather finish at home, here is how.
Choose your listener
Pick one person who will be glad to hear it, and tell them the song and roughly when. A set time makes the practice before it feel real.
Make it easy
Sit somewhere comfortable, play the song once all the way through, and do not stop for mistakes. Your teacher can talk through what to do if you lose your place.
