01

Can I learn any song?

Almost any song, in a version that suits you. Your teacher confirms what a recognisable version means for you after lesson one, and often starts with a simpler arrangement.

02

How long will it take?

The songbook shows a range: about 3 to 5 lessons for a gentle song, 5 to 8 for a steady one, 8 to 12 for a stretch. It assumes one 30-minute lesson a week and about ten minutes of practice most days. Taking longer is normal.

03

What if my song is not in the songbook?

Tell a teacher when you book the free first lesson. They will say how long it should take and what you will learn first.

04

Do you give out lyrics or charts?

No. We teach the shapes and the song itself. Lyrics and published charts belong to their writers, so teachers bring their own material to lessons.

05

Is the first lesson really free?

Yes: thirty minutes, an instrument provided and nothing to sign up to afterwards.

06

What is a listening lesson?

The last lesson of your path, with one guest in the room or on a video call. It is how you play your first song for someone. You can also play it at home: our journal shows how.
