Tonecraft began as a repair bench in the back of a Wicker Park shop. People came in for strings and left asking who could teach them one song. So we added a lesson room, then five more, and kept the idea: the song comes first, and everything else, the instrument, the teacher, the lesson plan, is chosen to get you playing it.
